Sublingual Tinctures

Tincture is a cannabis-infused liquid solution that can be swallowed or administered under the tongue and absorbed through the gums. This option is popular among patients seeking long-lasting symptom relief. When swallowed, tincture has a slow onset and may take 60-90 minutes before effects are felt. Patients are encouraged to exercise caution and allow each dose to take full effect before an additional dose is taken. When consumed sublingually (beneath the tongue), tincture can produce effects within 15 minutes. This method is popular with patients seeking more immediate symptom relief.

Vaporization Oil

Vaporization technology allows cannabis extract to be heated into a mist or vapor form and inhaled by the patient. This option is popular among patients seeking immediate symptom relief and offers the benefit of specific dosage control. This innovative approach offers patients the convenience and versatility of inhaled cannabis in a health-focused format.

Oral Capsules

This type offers patients a product in the familiar format of solid capsules with precise cannabinoid content. This option is popular with patients seeking long-lasting symptom relief or whose condition limits fine motor control and requires a traditional easy-to-use medication.

Edibles

Cannabis medicine can be taken in a wide variety of edible forms, including sweet or savory/salty foods and beverages. Edible products, or “medibles” as they are sometimes known, are a good choice for long-lasting relief. Most medibles use a preparation of cannabis within a fat (such as butter, olive oil or coconut oil), which is added to the food product. The effects of an edible dose of medicine take from 45 minutes to one hour to be felt, and can last for many hours. Foods prepared with medi-butter can provide long-lasting, effective relief for many conditions and symptoms.

Flower

The cannabis flower is extremely rich in natural medicines and nutrients. The bulk of these medicines is concentrated in the resin glands (trichomes) that sit on the surface of cannabis buds and leaves. The most resin is found on the flowering bud of the female cannabis plant. This resin contains the cannabinoids that give it a therapeutic benefit. One of the primary reasons to opt for a cannabis flower is that it is unprocessed. This means you can count on getting both the beneficial cannabinoids and the terpenes, as well as other unknown plant molecules.

Topical

A topical is a cannabis product that is ingested by the patient through the skin. Topical products include salves, balms, ointments and creams. Users often feel immediate, sometimes tingly relief on the spot the medicine is applied.
